This post is about the ministry I did about last 2 weeks ago. It was a great and awesome ministry when I can did it with team from Philippines. It such a great moments for me. Our team from church that join this trip, Dkn Mawan, Dkn Alexander, Sis Jemaima, Sis Joy and me while team from Philippines there were 7 person. Their ages around 30 years old and above. And that's mean only Sis Jemaima, Sis Joy and me the young n youth that join this ministry. Praise the Lord. God have chosen us to serve Him.
At first time, i thought that we just go to one place only, that is Rh.Aji Selipin, but suddenly, it been canceled. So, we need to go to another place at SIB Bakong and SIB Logan Manok. Then, we need to divide into 2 groups, one group stay at SIB Bakong, and the other one group went to SIB Logan Manok. I really wanted to go to Logan Manok, cause it was a long journey to reach that long house. And i want to feel how to using boat(perahu). Wow! Sound great! Hehe. Then, Uncle Mawan said to three of us(Sis Jemaima, Sis Joy and me), that we will join the group to Logan Manok. Wow! Praise the Lord! Finally, we can go. We went there with Uncle Mawan and three person from Philippines(included one Pastor from Philippines and our adopted Mama and Papa from Philippines).
For me, it was a awesome trip and journey to reach that long house. THIS THE REAL MINISTRY! We went there using boat through Sungai Bakong, it took time about 30 or 40 minutes. That time, we reached Pasar Bakong around 5pm, so that time after lalu sungai bakong, we need to go through other junction at sungai, hehe, and that time, air surut bha, it's hard for us, so need to slow down the boat. Hehe. But, it's fun! When saw crocodile. LOL! Then, want it or not, we need to stop suddenly and we need to walk to reach the long house. It took around 15 or 20 minutes to walk. It quite tired but it fun because we try hard to give the best for Abba Father. Hallelujah!
Finally, after a long journey, we reached the long house. Praise the Lord! All of us look happy.
That night, we have a short service. Sis Jemaima, Sis Joy and me need to lead for Praise and Worship. Like it! Preaching from Pastor from Philippines great too, I still remember the verse he share that time, famous verse and sure everyone know it 'JOHN 3:16'. And testimony that share by Papa Philippines, really touched me that time and mean so much. The next day, Sunday service, and for the first time, they put trust on me to lead for Sunday service and Praise and worship. I said, WHAT?? ME, WHY ME??
But then, He spoke to me, and said, He had choose me. So I said, YES I WILL LORD.
Actually, this is my deep desires before this, I wish to be worship leader, i pray again and again, and finally, God answer my prayer that day. Praise the Lord! So, i go on, and Praise the Lord again, I did my best for Him!
After one night we stayed there, then, it's time to go back Miri. Feel hard to leave that long house, macam jatuh cinta dah dengan long house tu. LOL!
From this ministry, i learn so much things, it was a new experience for me, when we need to do ministry at one place that really interior place. I like it, because we can shared and bless those people there. When we need to use boat, walk in the forest, have our bath at river(we not scared), etc. What we never do, see, hear, we did, saw and heard it there! They gave us good attendance while we there. I also felt blessed when God give me opportunity to do this great ministry with team from Philippines. They really friendly and have a deep desires to spend their money, left their time for their job, left their family. To be with all of them make me felt happy and blessed. They just like our dad and mom. I really hope, one day, I can do this kind of ministry again. Amen!
So, my post will be until here for this time beings. Before it, on top there some pictures i took during that ministry. But, most of the pictures is about view. LOL! It is because i like view! hehe! I can't take picture during Sunday service. Huhu, but Enjoy it!
